Our 9th Annual 12,402 Steps to Cure Sarcoma will be held on Saturday, May 11th, 2013 we look forward to seeing you there!!


We are proud to announce that due to great support from all of our walkers (or runners!) and our sponsors we have donated $120,000.00 to the MGH Sarcoma Cancer Center from our 8th annual walk. This brings are total donations to MGH to an incredible $908,300.00!!!!

The JHYSF is now using First Giving for our fundraising efforts. This will enable walkers to create their own fundraising page to track their progress. You can access our First Giving site at via this link . You can also make a donation via the Contributions page.

It is our new goal to reach the $1,000,000 mark by the end of our 9th year - please continue to support us in that quest.

WHO WE ARE

The Jennifer Hunter Yates Sarcoma Foundation (JHYSF) was created in loving memory of Jennifer Hunter Yates by her family, her friends, & members of the Medical Staff from Massachusetts General Hospital who treated her. Jen bravely fought two forms of Sarcoma, Malignant Peripheral Nerve Sheath Tumor & Osteosarcoma, for 17 months until sadly succumbing to these diseases on April 13th, 2004.
